'4x4 Equip' shovel and axe holder, extra bits ?????

I was given a '4x4 Equip' shovel and axe holder recently.

Can anyone tell me what the two loops, pin, and threaded 16mm pin are for.

I can't find anything obvious online, and there is a sticker on the unit saying 'axe and shovel only, 6kg limit', so I'm wondering what else it was intended to carry.

    Cheers, Murray

They sell a long/short handle shovel - I believe one of the loops holds the long handle piece which sits over the pin.

    Combo Shovel Ultimate - 4x4Equip

At a guess the 16mm stud could hold a spare wheel nut? No idea about the second loop.

I suspected maybe a modular shovel, so that makes sense, but the 16mm thread is not the same as the wheel nut, that was the first thing I tried, so still a mystery. Maybe someone else can enlighten us.

Have you seen the second image on this page: Axe and Shovel Holder Kit - 4x4Equip

Looks like the shovel handle might screw onto that thread, and the other loop is for an axe.
