    This is interesting stuff - has anyone got a sympathetic engineer in NSW?

    I got a full cage....

    I guess if defected, to rectify, we can just unbolt the cafe and put the blanking plates on?

    10minuties to unbolt the cage. Undo 4*6 nuts.

    Isn't the real issue that your insurance would be void if you had an on road accident?

    Only if the roof rack contributed to the accident.
