Hi,
When I did it, I had the passenger's seat out and the negative battery post connection loosened - just.
Then, with windows up, key in and turn on, 5 secs, turn off and key out and off with the battery negative connection - make it clean - no intermittent touching.
Wait a minute or so, and make a nice clean reconnection and lock it down.
Should start now.
Cheers

i've had the 'dash lights not coming on' twice before along with no tacho or speedo or aircon after doing stuff with my battery set up. It rectified itself after removing one of the fusible links ( in fuse box under driver seat) i'm not sure which one sorts it as both times i removed every fusible link and tested with a meter. Last time it happened i had a fault code for CAN bus not working.
