    McNamara Lockers

    Hey All!

I have been needing to get new bearings in my rear diff (1996 Defender 130), my mechanic mentioned McNamara and see if he would even open his factory door.
So I did get greeted, and Jeff said that new bearings were required. I asked if he still had lockers and if he would fit one when fitting the bearings.
By my surprise, he said he could, and do both the bearings and locker for $2400.

My question is, are these lockers as good as I have read, and is that price fair? (I think it is)

    Cheers, Declan

Many that know think they are the best. They were never popular because Jeff was exceptionally hard to deal with.

This is the design that TJM adopted for the Prolocker.

Might want to ask if $2400 includes HD axles. I suspect not based on the going price for competitor lockers fitted. Add about $800 for a pair of axles for the rear and about $1600 for the front with HD CV's.

The TJM Pro Locker is as a result of the McNamara locker as I understand.
He does seem hard to deal with but it seems possible.

No axles included at this price, but I can have them in for 800 a pair.
