The problem is the trailer light will flash all of the time.
Hi,
I guess I'll have to see what it does when it arrives. I'm not too fussed about the trailer indicators as I don't have a trailer.
Thanks for the info though.
Cheers
The problem is the trailer light will flash all of the time.
On my WIPAC, the adjuster is for trailer indicator(dash light) fine tuning, nothing to do with flash rate!
As I didn't have a trailer to test with at the time, I adjusted it up and down till the dash trailer indicator stopped flashing with the indicators.
If you had one and it worked as you describe, maybe it was an old model, or faulty .. but adjustment doesn't affect flash rate.
Like I said before, I got mine about 2 years ago(maybe 20 months or so) .. didn't install it straight away tho .. maybe early-middle of last year.

Neither the WIPAC or RDX worked on my ‘88 County so I fitted resisters and all good.
On a customers Td5 Defender the WIPAC didn’t work, but the RDX worked fine.

Hi,
The Wipac arrived from 4x4outdoortuning.com.au and I have just installed it.
Time is spot on, and the little knob will adjust the trailer indication symbol from full time on through flashing with the indicators to just a wink flash in time with the indicators and can be tuned to the Amps drawn by the indicator circuit.
I am assuming the wink flash would go to a full flash if I attached a trailer.
So I have LED in the rear and the bullbar, and normal LR incandescent lamps in the front and side mudguards.
I am very happy with the result.
Cheers
