    Thanks for the response rick130!

Just to clarify, do I unscrew the furthest out part of the flange with or without the 5 bolts holding the flange to the hub?

The cap gives you access to the circlip that holds the axle in place. I'ts easier to undo the cap whilst on the car. Undoing the five M10 bolts allow you to pull the flange off.

If you’re undoing the nut hopefully nobody has used loctite.....otherwise can be very difficult.

Leave the five flange bolts done up to remove the nut.

    Engage CDL or chock wheels.

maxi drive large hex cap, remove & refit.

    Hi Luke,

when you put the big hex cap back on, take care not to do it up too tight. The thread is fine so its easy to seize.
I put some teflon tape on mine, or some anti seize. and I remove them every year to make sure they're free.

    cheers simmo
