    Td5 defender odometer fault

    Hi,

    I'm currently working on a defender td5..the last of them,
    For some reason the odometer never turns off, even with the key out and car locked.

    This vehicle has numerous other electrical problems, but I've gotta start somewhere.

    Does anyone have any ideas on what could cause this?

    Not sure, but its normal I think. It's an LCD

    I have a td5 Defender and it’s always had digits displayed unless you disconnect the battery

    I have a 1999 Td5 and as other say it only goes out when the batteries are disconnected.
