Urgent - 300tdi lift pump in Devonport Tassie

Good evening all, long story short I've driven from Sydney and am in Melbourne about to catch the ferry across to Tas and my less than 1500km old Delphi fuel pump seems to have failed even worse than the shagged one I just replaced. I'm heading to Hobart but can only manage 40kmh so not liking my chances of making it.
Does anyone have a spare lying around somewhere on the north coast? Or know where I could get one?

If it's not the pump, is the rev hunting/intermittent fuel starvation symptomatic of anything else? Injectors are new, fuel filter is new, still to check sedimenter as I need to remove the water tank. Injection pump has just been tuned by a Landy independent.

    Cheers!

Does the engine start first time or lots of turn over before starting?

The injector pump is usually able to draw fuel if system has remained primed from previous shut down; the engine should rev freely.

    Blocked fuel filtering system.

Could be air getting in system via pinhole in fuel line - had this problem once - no fuel leaking at pinhole but letting air in - found by feeling along the fuel line for wear point.

Engine oil level not creeping up the stick?

Thanks for the suggestions, air was the culprit. Bled the system at the fuel filter and its running great. Cleaned out the sedimentor too though it was pretty clean regardless.

Question now is whether I didn't bleed it properly when working on it a couple of weeks ago or whether there's air getting in through a pinhole as you said. We'll see whether the problem develops again...
