You do not need one.
I have an ARB Turbo Timer (not yet fitted) but was considering putting it in.
Thing is, while I think they are useful after a long run; a drive to the station etc doesn't need it.
It seems stupid to have to press the kill button after every shorter trip so I'm wondering how i can wire it in with a switch so that the Timer is active or not,
Eg switched one way the timer is out of the loop - all performs as normal.
Switched the other way the Timer is in the loop.
Anyone?

Hi Vlad, I use to manufacture an electronic turbo time but stopped their production more than 15 years ago.
They are not needed in modern vehicles for a number of reasons.
Just put it in a museum because that is all it is worth now.
haha define 'modern' ?
If not needed maybe I'll pop it on ebay someone will prob buy it.

I used Nical turbo savers on my 4 Detroit Diesels. They are basically a hydraulic accumulator that fills a pressure chamber with oil whilst the engine is running and slowly releases the oil into the turbo bearings when you shut down. Good gadgets. Don't know if they are still available.

I just wait until my EGT goes down to 200C which is the lowest reading. (D2 2002 TD5 auto)
On hot days I have to turn the aircon off to get below say 220C.
It only takes about 3 seconds of idling.

Thanks all, one less job to do.
Wonder what I could sell it for? Does ARB still sell em? What price?
