I’m looking for thoughts on how much it would cost to colour match paint a couple of alloy gullwings for my creamy white ‘85 county. It’s a solid colour, not metallic.
what say you wise forum?

Some auto paint shops will supply factory colours in aerosol cans, so if you want to do it yourself and you don’t have the ‘proper’ gear, this is an easy way to go. From memory I paid $36 per can.
If you have bare aluminium, you’ll need etch primer, then a surface primer before you top coat. These are available off the shelf.
The down side of aerosol cans is, they don’t go as far as tinned paint.
For two Gullwings, I’d guess you’d need 1x etch primer, 1x surface primer, and 2x top coat allowing for 2-3 coats for each Gullwing.
