Does anyone have a carbon winch on an ARB bullbar on a Defender D90 MY15

hi guys, as per the title, I am keen to fit a winch, Warn winches on the ARB bullbar are a really tight fit and most not water/ingress capable, so I am looking at the carbon winch. Does anyone have one, on an ARB bullbar, on a FY15 Defender (as the front grill needs to be cut and I only want to do this if the winch fits with some room to move and works correctly).
    cheers, Simon

Not a Carbon winch, but I have just fitted a Runva 11xp to a MY11 110 with an ARB Bullbar, now to finish the electrics.

Just had to remove the bash plate underneath and the front grill + surrounds and could lift it up from underneath and bolt it in with no cutting of the front grill or surrounds.

Getting better at it now as had to do it a couple of times to get the handle in the correct position, I couldn't get a jack underneath so just lifted it up and used a tyre through the front to hold it whilst i put the bolts in.

You may just want to compare the size of the Runva 11xp against the Carbon winch you are looking at.

I have one on an MY16 110. Is that close enough?

It fits just fine, no cutting required. Some more info here:
    Alasdair, the MY16 Keswick 110

hi Fatnold, ARB told me the zeon wouldn't fit
Did you have to cut anything (front grill) and did you fit yourself ? Did you remove the bulbar to fit it, or could you lift up from underneath (after probably removing bash plate and front grill).

I like the idea of the carbon as it is ip68 rated, and $1,000 (a lot less than a warn) and seems to get good ratings.

Hey fatnold - was the winch any good?

I'm sad to have had my newly recond XD9000 stolen off my bench after 3 vehicles and 20+ years of service/standby. Got the $2900 insurance payout but not sure which way to go or what will fit in my RRC ARB bar (that which held the XD9000).

Any advice out there on these new great "sounding" Carbon/Runva winches compared to the Warn response to them in the cheaper (than XD) Xeon & Evo models?

    Cheers
