    Front coil lower retainer position

    Hi
Just fitted new coils and shocks to the front of my 96 130.
Seem like the lower coil retainer isn't straight up and down, but tilted forward. Is this normal. Can't see how the whole diff could rotate forward. Surely worn raduis arm bushes wouldn't do this .

The entire diff rotates through an arc from the mounting point at the chassis.

As the diff drops the entire unit (in reference to horizontal) rotates forward at the top.

Lowering it back to ground will see this begins to level out again.

This is one of the challenges for big lifts, and where the castor changes come from.

    Thanks Tombie
The photo was taken , with the jack lowered at full articulation. Will check it now that it is back on its wheels
