    TDI Injector pumps

    Are the 200 and 300 TDI Injector pumps the same animal and as a consequence, interchangeable???

    I would like to know also have a 300 tdi that won't run and all signs point to injector pump.
    I have a good 200 tdi pump here I would like to try.

    no, they are not the same,

    yes they are interchangeable.


    the pumps are not exactly the same but they can be changed over if you have all the right bits. much like dropping a tdi300 into the hole a tdi200 came from, If you have both sets complete you generally have all the bits you need to make it work.

    My particular situation is that my 92 Defer (TDI200) has a leaking pump and I have a good complete spare 300. I would like to rob the 300 pump and fit it to my work ute.

    I have the opposite good 200 pump need a 300.
