SubscriberI'm attempting to decrease the noise level in my 300 tdi CSW (I know - I should just buy more ear plugs, but we all have to go through this phase!). I really want to get some noise and heat insulation against the firewall behind the fuse assembly screwed onto the middle of the firewall as per the photo.
My question is this : Are the two screws that hold this assembly onto the firewall screwed into captive nuts, or am I going to have to get access to those nuts so I can hold them while I remove the screws?
Thanks for any advice
Michael
