Puma 2.2 CDL warning light displaying incorrectly

    G'day all,

I've just had the gearbox and transfer case out to fix a clutch rattle in my 2015 Defender 2.2. [115,000km on the clock ]

I took the opportunity to get a steel bush installed for the T/C intermediate shaft and also an Ashcroft ATB centre differential. All done by a gearbox and differential specialist.

The gearbox and T/C are now back in the car but the CDL warning light is displaying incorrectly, namely:-
    (a) It does not display in high range, when the CDL is locked.
    (b) It displays in low range, whether the CDL is locked or not.

Anyone know why this is happening and what the fix is?

    Thanks.

Incorrectly plugged in. Wires may have been damaged during removal, and reconnected incorrectly. The CDL wires are hooked up to the High Low indicator switch and visa versa. OR the switches have been fitted In to the wrong hole...

    CDL light follow up

    Problem solved.

The Hi/Lo switch and the CDL switch had been swapped.

There was an adjustment issue as well. After swapping the switches the CDL would only come on when in T/C was in low range.

    Thanks for the help guys.
