    Defender brake booster seals

I recently bought a new TRW brand brake booster (non abs) when I went to fit it I noticed that there were no rubber boots inside for the master cylinder bolts, the original did have boots.

Is there meant to be another gasket or seal for these bolts?

Like a couple of o-rings fitted on the bolts between the master cylinder and the booster? I'm pretty sure it would leak past the bolts as they just appear to be loose on the holes.

    Cheers

Finally had an HR today, checked the vac pump on the engine, sucks down to about 22 inHg, so hooked up the mityvac to the booster, sucked it down to the same , went away for half an HR came back, no change..

So somehow they are still sealed inside, must be a seal in there I couldn't see.

    Cheers
