    Puma Fuel cap lanyard/strap replacement

Does anyone know if the rubber lanyard is replaceable on the fuel cap?

Mine has snapped and I have removed the rubber strap from the cap and replaced it with a short piece of synthetic cord, which is doing the job. Without it I would have left the cap at the servo by now

It would be good to replace it with a genuine rubber lanyard, but I dont want to have to changeout the cap complete

    Hi Grappler

Mine has the same issue and I haven’t found anything suitable except replacing the whole unit so I would be interested in the discussion.

you could replace it with a cheap britpart one for round $15, which would likely be the same price if you could buy just the strap and lets face it, the genuine strap clearly isnt that great.
