Thread: Air con system size

I am doing a custom air con system in my defender build. I am going for an overhead evaporator and am trying to make it as small as possible but also effective. I can do a 22,000btu evaporator which is smaller or a 32,000btu which will effect head room for the rear passengers. Just seeing if anyone has experience of a 22,000btu size system with 390cfm blower? Would it be sufficient? I want aircon that would be effective up north. Thanks
