    Defender 110 2006 won’t start

Has anyone got suggestions. Having trouble with my defender 110 (2006). When I turn the ignition on everything lights up on the dash the horn toots once or twice and nothing happens - no engine turning over just the dash dials lighting up. Turn the ignition on and off and same thing but no horn sounds. Come back to the Ute a couple of hrs later and it starts perfectly like nothing is wrong

Pretty sure you need to lift the bonnet to reset....I’ve never experienced it but pretty sure my wife said she had to lift bonnet and reset the button.

Land Rover EKA Code (emergency key access) code | Remote Key, UK

Er whoops, no remote or immobiliser on mine....I’m thinking it the inertia switch my wife had to deal with.
