2004 TD5 defender alarm and central locking ECU

    Hi all
i have an issue with my 110 and it’s killing me.
so the story goes I unlocked the old girl grabbed something out of the centre console then went to lock it with the key ring fob and it made a really strange noise in the door ( like it tried to lock but didn’t have enough power )
so I opened the door and then tried to start it thinking it might be a flat battery. As I went to turned it over, it though up the immobiliser light and the alarm started but did not even turn over. I then tried my spare keys and the same thing. I then changed the battery in the fob and still no good.
so I stood back and started thinking what to do. The fob and even the key in the door won’t lock the car with the central locking.
so it started checking fuses (all good) and so on. Before long I have the whole dash pulled apart and I’m looking at the GREEN box that is the alarm and central locking ECU.
so I brought one off triumph rover spares and put it in today it will turn the engine over now and no alarm and no immobiliser light on the dash. But it won’t start and the central locking still won’t work.
do I have to program the fobs to the new GREEN ECU? is there any way to do this?
i have come to a bit of a road block and would love some help or even Suggestions.
    thanks in Advance

You need to tell the engine ECU to learn the security code of the 10AS

Nanocom or equivalent. Go into ECU function and select “learn security”
