    Lights issue

    Hi, 2002 110 td5.
Having a issue with the spot lights, I cannot work it out.
If I have power and ground to light (hooked up multimeter to wires and getting around 12.4v), then I should be able to get the lights to come on. However I get nothing, globes are good, also tried different lights that work elsewhere- nothing.
    Thanks for the help

You will most likely have a poor connection, high resistance or damaged wire somewhere. The connection is enough to give you a voltage but as soon as there is load on the system the resistance generated by the fault will drop the voltage.
Best way to determine is to test the voltage under load, expose the pins slightly and check the voltage under load, if the voltage "disappears" then you've got the above.

Run a temporary earth to the light, if it works then your problem is on the earth side, if it doesn't then your problem is on the power.

    Cheers Glen
