Thread: Mantec Spare Wheel Carrier - Door Plate Assembly Set-Out

Hi all,

I’ve managed to pick up a Mantec spare wheel carrier with everything except the door plate. I’ve tried locating a spare on the social pages without any success and tried to contact Mantec to purchase one directly, however due to the current Covid situation over in the UK I haven’t been able to contact them. They sell them on their eBay store too but have no shipping options for Australia.

So it looks like I’ll have to make something up myself. To assist here, could someone throw a tape over their door plate give me the set-out dimensions for the piston bolts marked in Red in relation to the existing bolt holes marked in Blue on the attached door plate template?

Note: it’s the 214-MASWC version NOT the JLR genuine part version. Not sure if there are differences in the door mounting positions.

On a side note, if someone has a door plate laying around from a salvage job I’d be keen to take it off your hands to save me the hassle.
