    Center muffler bolt size?

I’m in need of replacing my center muffler..I’ve had it of from the rear triangular 3 bolt joint to do rear suspension....however the 2 front nuts( engine end) tightened my sphincter so much I left them alone......anyone know if there all the same size( and what size?}...are they the same size / thread as manifold, turbo to man and turbo to down pipe?..............Im gong to slice them off rather than snap a stud....I’m fairly certain I have manifold bolts around and I’m guessing that a lock washer and bolt would also suit.?
Not in a position to source bolts after I’ve started...30 km trip
    Cheers mark

It just so happens I've got the muffler off my 2012 tdci at the moment.
2-bolt (engine side) studs of the center muffler are M10 x 1.5

Cut studs, drill, and just use ordinary bolts if you have to. Nylocs will melt, just standard hi tensile steel will be fine.

You should consider using your surplus of brain cells to contribute something useful instead of picking out spelling mistakes. A person of your incredible mental fortitude would surely be able to understand what was meant.

Jeez, glad I didn’t mention the “of” off issue, Toxic”, or I might have gotten a real hammering.

Mine look to be a pressed in dome head stud thing.....luckily there on the muffler side ,so it’s slice the bolts off

You might be surprised if you make a helical slice through the nut as best you can, and then give it a good whack with a cold chisel- sometimes this will split the nut enough to get it off. Of course, only applicable if you want to save the stud.
