Thread: 1996 130 seatbelts

I think seatbelts have to have an Australian Standard or ADR no. on them. We had to change the seatbelts on a grey import Nissan from Japan to get it registered.

And how did you know which seatbelt was to be installed?

Contact Rimmers and ask if the belts they sell are AU/NZ approved, if they want your business they will get back to you.
I've been buying Securon belts from Paddocks (for Series vehicles) and they are all AU/NZ approved.

I replaced all mine (1998 130) with genuine belts through British auto parts in Melbourne.

I asked at KLR on Friday. They have the seatbelts in stock.
