Wheel swap advice needed
Hi Guys. My son has a 2012 Defender 110, and wants to replace the standard Land Rover alloy wheels with black steel (Wolf) rims. He has the opportunity to do a straight swap with another Defender owner who wants to go back to the standard alloys. My question is will the wheels swap straight over without any problems, or do we need to worry about swapping wheel studs, nuts, hubs or spacers or anything else? Both sets are 16” rims, and the tyres on the steel rims are 285/75/16. I just want reassurance from those that know and have done it, that there won’t be any issues.
Thanks gang.

Doesnt sound like the steel wheels are Wolf wheels as I had thought that the widest tyre that will go on a wolf is a 255.

The nuts need to go with the wheels as alloy and steel use different types of nuts.
As above a Wolf wheel is not wide enough for a 285.
