    Puma 90 Suspension upgrade options

I have setup my 90 for touring, and although I'm being as itinerate as possible, its carrying a lot of extra weight. I took it to the tip during the build and its weighing in around 2440kgs. I still had some things to add, and will re-weigh once I'm 100% complete, but lets assume my best guess is close and it will sit at ~2650kgs fully loaded with passengers etc.

This is within GVM for this vehicle, but obviously its riding a little lower in the back and suspension is feeling more doughy. Given that most of this weight will be there all of the time I would like to regain the standard ride height so I wont overtax or bottom out when the track gets a bit ordinary. As its a tourer for the foreseeable future, I wont be tackling anything super gnarly. Also I run standard size tyres and am not looking for a lift.

What would be the best way to firm up the suspension and return her to a standard ride height. Are there spring/shock packages out there that have higher spring rates and maintain a standard ride height? I can only seem to find lift kits online.

    Thanks in advance!

Heavier factory springs. They’re cheap as and will do the job nicely.

Or fit Airbag Man airbags to the rear, so you can adjust the pressure as required. Works great.

as in 110 springs, or HD springs for a 90? Im assuming there's a corresponding HD shock for this setup.

Do you have any product codes for these? I cant seem to definitely find any OEM options online

If you search the online Britpart or Terrafirma catalogues you should find plenty of springs.

    Not 110 rear springs.
110s and 130s have a larger diameter rear spring.
Any RRC, D1 or 2 or 90 front or rear or 110, 130 front will fit.
    LRA have a good selection
    Purchase Springs
and a chart to show ride height v axle load
Spring Graph: Spring Height v's Weight Graph

There is lots of info on Land Rover spring length and rate on the web, just search
