I have aftermarket dampers and had the springs pop out. Easy to pop them back in.
I use 2 fencing wire twitches at the top mount. No more problems.

That'll work fine.
The stock dampers are too short when unladen, there's minimal droop travel, less than 1".
That's fine on a race car where most all open wheelers are run with zero droop in the front, and often in the rear, too, but not great in a road/offroad vehicle

Just adding another vote for adding rear Airbag Man airbags, in my case to standard coils and shocks. The adjustability for towing is excellent.
Springs are sooo old school……..bag the rear![]()
Next time round I'll look at Bilstein and a pair of bags.
I have a second hand set of Air Bag Man air bags for sale with covers, Possibly 4 years old , and had done maybe 20000 Kms.
