Guys...
Any ideas as to how these white Clips hold/clamp to the glass and retain the glass in position when winding the window down?
Re: GLASS CLIP (from VIN: LA932529)
Guys... The window fell out of it's position the other day when I was winding the window down. The Plastic Clamps/Clips at the base of the window are old and looks like they need replacing. I found the part number (see above) but I was wondering if anyone knows how these plastic clips clamp onto the Glass and hold it in place when winding the window down?
Do u need to put any sort of adhesive on the window to hold it in place?
thanks in advance...

Hi Rob,
The ones I have changed, I have never used any glue they have just been a press fit and that has been on Land Rovers and other makes as well.
Hopefully I haven't been doing it wrong all this time.

just glue in in position, I'm pretty sure the original ones are just glued in.
Doesnt take much, your fav instant, rtv, or my dad back when he used to do work for me used some stuff that bonds to glass, I didnt really pay much attention to his work
