Thread: Where have you run your solar wires?

Hi all. I am looking to install my solar panel on the roof rack and I was wondering where everyone else has run their wiring from outside to inside? I don't want to run it through the snorkel as the wire length will be very long to the solar controller. If you have a photo of what you did and where you ran them from outside to in that would be great!

I took mine through the roof , with a cable gland , & down the back of the passengers door pillar , cable tied to the pillar . then into the battery box under the seat .
Fairly neat & has not given me any grief for 2 years .
You may be able to get it inside the pillar , not sure .

Pillar has structural (🤣🤣&#129315 cross braces in it
I had the cables Ron through the pillar and down the inner trim in the old 110.
Grommet and sealer (not silicone) kept another leak at bay

Latest 110 I’m looking at the snorkel option
The length of cable isn’t too bad, if the regulator it at the battery your volt drop is worked out at solar panel voltage
