Thread: 16x8 +6 offset Dynamic steel wheels with 285/75/16 tyres

I would be interested as well but also can u fit a 285 onto a 7inch Rim if needed in a emergency? I would like to fit 255 tyres but they are hard to get in the outback whereas I believe the 285 would be easier to get in a emergency and they have basically the same rolling circumference as the 255

I have zero offset Dynamic rims which i bought about 10 years ago (new) and have run 285/75 R16 Mickey Thompson MTZ's ever since. Great combination.

No need to change flares. Steering locks will need a little adjustment

Is the +6 offset something new being offered by Dynamic?

I have some Dynamic rims (run 255's though)
The shoulder angle on the stud holes is different though and I need to get some appropriate wheel nuts (anyone know where) before they chew out the holes on the wheels.
I asked at a tyre place and they had no idea what I was talking about.

I have been using the standard defender wheel nuts on the Dynamic rims for over 10 years. no issues.

I too have been running landrover nuts on my dynamic without out issue however it certainly not the correct way to do it……but everybody seems to get away with it.

I did get a counter sink bit ground up so that I could match the dynamic rims to the Land Rover nuts……but have just ordered a new set of rims so that little project is out the door along with the the rims.

If anybody wants a cutter….I have one going at a good price
