Puma clutch slave cylinder adaptor hose disconnect, what's the trick?

Hi all, I'm currently in the process of replacing the clutch in our MY13 D90 but am stumped on the simplest of tasks ... What's the trick to disconnecting the slave cylinder adaptor from the clutch hose? Do you just pull them apart? It all seems pretty delicate up there and I don't want to break anything, there's not a lot of room to see what is going on.

Never done this job before but from pictures of the parts, it looks like a reusable wire circlip- either needing to be pushed in to spread the wire away from the locking groove, or pulled out - either way.
Trick with things like that is to wiggle the hose while pressing the circlip part so that it actually disengages. O-rings and tight fit can bind it up, sort of like a 'quick' disconnect fuel fitting.

Thanks for the tip! That was the magic, lift up the circlip like gate and it was free. Here's a piccie for anyone else encountering this in future:
