I bought 920E (ex Caparo, ex AP Lockheed) OEM replacement seal kits to overhaul a set of Defender brake calipers but the fluid seals look to be a different shape to the ones removed from the original AP calipers. Pretty sure the part numbers are correct. In the photos below the new seal is on the left next to the removed original seal on the right. The original seal appears to be tapered where as the new seal is square cut. The narrow end of the tapered seal faced towards the fluid pressure side which could suggest that the seal is just deformed over time. Can anyone please confirm if the square cut seals are the correct shape. Ta.
