Thread: No tow bar on 09 defender

Just purchased a ute that hasn’t got a tow bar fitted. I’ve noticed a few different suppliers offering h/d kits that include a wiring harness, and fitting doesn’t seem troublesome.
Has anyone purchased and fitted a tow bar and willing to share their experience or supplier preference?

Had an ARB one fitted to the sons Puma110.

Didnt take long for all the paint to fall off and surface rust to appear.
ARB replaced it,but it also happened to the second one.
Removed it and had it powder coated at a local place,still going fine,when the vehicle was sold 10yrs later.

Easy to fit,just bolted onto existing holes.
Wiring was pretty easy from memory as well.
