I've researched as much as I can take but can't find an answer.
I want to fit the above. Would the Disco rims need modifying? Anyone got the above as standard?
Thanks, David

Thanks Daz, I have the rims & offered the tyres at a fair price, so all good...

Can I suggest the different experience may be 90 vs 110? (Smaller diameter springs)

No, I've got a '96 & a '10 model 110 Wagons and they both do it. One is running a 235/85 and the other is a 265/75 and both are on LR Factory Defender Rims and both rub on the inside/sidewall of the tyre on the rear spring perch. The suspension is fine & not sagged. The factory rims have the standard +30 offset I believe...
The rubbing is only under flexing conditions, normal driving - no worries
Yes under full flex tyres can rub on the outer top coil tower.
a 235 is very minimal, a 265 more so but still none of it really is a big issue.
A Perentie with a 265 is prolly the worst as the army at some point chicken poo welded a vertical plate to stop the coil from popping out, so like mine grinding the weld clean and smooth sorts this.

I had this combo on my County.
With the standard suspension the wheels tucked above the spring perch, and didn’t rub, but the top of the tyre hit the seat belt mounting for the load area seats (9 seater)
When the suspension was changed, for the worse, to stiffer springs the tyres rubbed the perches enough to polish the perches, but never damaged the tyres.
I have the same size tyres on my 130, with no rubbing, but the 130 wheels are narrower and have less offset.
