    Wiring harness woes.

A bit of a long story.
I was driving off road on the weekend, (lucky me, right) and my car, 300Tdi Defender 130, stopped dead.
Suspecting a fuel problem I started at he back working from the fuel tank forwards. I couldn't see the white wire that controls the fuel supply solenoid on the injector pump. I got underneath the car to see if the wire was dangling down and to my horror there was a wiring harness wrapped around the front prop shaft.
    That's what stopped the engine.
OK, untangled the birds nest of wiring from around the shaft and found it was a 2 part loom. The solenoid wire, oil pressure and temp wires were intact thankfully so I connected them up and she fired up. The other wires that run back along the chassis and run reverse lights, park brake and CDL light were not so fortunate.
I want to replace the whole loom from the plug on the firewall to their terminals. I suspect the wires would have stretched and are suspect if I merely patch wire it all.
The closest I've seen looking at looms on the net is part No AMR4019 but it doesn't seem 100% right. Wiring diagrams don't seem to point to a part, just their connections.
Has anybody got any clues please?

I had exactly the same thing happen to my 130 about three years ago.......after a mechanic had replaced the gearbox. luckily I was only about 3 Kms from home so the tilt tray trip was very short. Then the mobile Auto electrician I always use, came the next day and rebuilt the whole lot in about an hour and the cost wasn't as much as i expected. Can't remember how much, but it wasn't much.
    Don.

Yes I saw that, there are 9 identical looms under different part numbers. Just a tad confusing.
