    Heater temp dial is dead

    Gday

Replaced my leaking heater control valve, noticed that the cable connecting the control dial to the valve did nothing when turned by my helper. I could feel some resistance in both directions so it hasn't snapped.

I realise I have to pull the centre console to pieces, but it'd be good to hear from anyone who has had this happen...the cables are all overseas (of course).

more than likely its the dial switch assembly, its a common enough failure that I keep them in the workshop with the heater valve.
