on a Defender, TD5, R380
Australian spec did not have a transmission cooler, most have the side adaptor as noted with the pipes running to the front of the engine and doing a loop back.
Some in place of the cooler pipe adaptor had a bypass adaptor (so no pipe loop), as noted so oil flows from one hole to another.
FTC2104 is likely what your replacement gearbox has in place of the cooler pipe adaptor, both are inter-changeable.
