Thread: Help! td5 FPR or kit needed

Gday all.
Think the fuelling issue I’ve been trying to figure out has manifest itself

The fuel pressure reg let go and pumped deisel all over the car park
This was yet another Friday afternoon special

My wife’s just driven to Newcastle to pick up a new one but the supplier hasn’t got one, contrary to telling me they did before she left!!

Anyone in the Central Coast or Newy got a rebuild kit or the whole unit that I can buy?


I believe I can buy a 4 bar fpi unit from Repco that will suit and I’ve got the gasket, so might have to rebuild mine.
Does anyone know the small o ring sizes I’ll need?

Sorted. She’s up & running again, as of this evening, although I had to use an early FPR with the hole rather than the barbed spigot, as it’s all I could get on a Saturday.
Have ordered the correct one and will swap it in situ.
I read somewhere it could be done so I gave it a practice run with the old one prior to removing the block.
Difficult but not too hard whilst lying on the rocker cover!
