    Anyone know a defender mechanic near Albany Wa

    My defender 130 td5 has developed a ticking noise in the engine. My mechanic is in NSW and I’m travelling in WA. I’m currently in Margaret River and heading south east from here towards Albany, then Wave Rock, Esperance, Norseman area, then back across the Nullarbor. Can anyone please recommend a mechanic near any of these places to help me out. Thanks.
    Unfortunately I’m not mechanical enough to diagnose where the ticking noise is coming from. It does seem to be from the back end of the motor.

    All I can find is Mechanic in Albany WA? (aulro.com)

    and the list below from Help for Land Rover Owners when Travelling in Australia - Page 4 (aulro.com) I tried to PM cjc_td5
    alerting him to this thread as he is the only user I could think of in the area, but I'm not sure if it went through.
