The front locker lights up when in on position but not off (with rear locker on as it is meant to). I think the illumination bulb is blown. I'm not sure what to wire to source for lighting up the spotlight switch post.

front locker illumination appears to be bleeding through of the indicator led when on.
I guess all switches are those V series types, and if so, you have to work out which pin types they are too.
But from the table of pinouts, they all have sidelighting set to pin 8.
So you could just run the wire on pin 8 of one switch(that the illumination works) onto the front locker pin 8 too.
Hopefully this will definitely show you if the globe is out or current wire is on the wrong pin(for it) or wire break .. or whatever other possible cause.
Note that the switch still requires that it's earthed too, so is the front locker switch working properly ... operating the front locker?
And you should be able to splice into the wire on any of the other switches at pin 8 for illumination on the spot light switch and front locker switch if it hasn't been already.
Even though you say that the fridge light is only a place holder, still get the wiring for it ready too.
I took all the leads off the back locker and put them on the front locker switch - no illumination light. Not sure what you mean bleeding through indicator?
Agree, very triggered switches are not all lit up the same!
As long as the wiring was spot on, then for sure the illumination bulb has blown then.
The light from the dot, that shows the switch is activated is bleeding through to the telltale symbol that shows the diff illumination.Quote:

I bought 2 spare switches locally as off on but there are on 4 terminals on and the locker has 5 wires?

that's why with my latest acquisition , I'm having the lightbar , cb radio , fridge and reverse/rear floods being professionally wired in using oem switches , relays and plugs and uniform illumination
for a few hundred bucks I have none of the backaches , busted fingers , broken panel pins and associated frustrations.... He's happy and so am I
Yep totally worth it.
Got the fridge light going piggyback off the compressor power in and earth. Got the front locker lighted swapping with the compressor. Order a stedi carling switch to replace the compressor switch with dud light (or it will be dud wiring!).
