Got them, broken blue clips though now need to source.
Can't get the little feckers off...pushing the blue tabs in but nothing budging, even have a plier clip disconnector tool that isn't working.
Any suggestions that will move these so I can refresh my coolant?
Watched the Haynes YT video where they practically fall off for the go and he uses a ****ty screwdriver. Why does this **** always happen to me...

Had the same trouble with the fuel pipes on the filter a couple of weeks ago, the clips don't want to play nicely once they have a bit of age on them.
Anyone know if I can replace them with generic clips?

Managed to reuse the blue tabs and added hose clamps.

quick release clips on a land rover are anything but quick release...
so rather than break the clips, spray clean all round the connectors with brake clean or similar, then spray some silicone spray, then press the clip in be it a one side press type or a both side press type and rotate as you push in and gentle pull out.

*it happens to everyone.
*professionals often make it look easy, especially on a video.
*sometimes with a Defender you need to walk away for a bit.
*if all ease fails, you need to go to your zen place in your mind.
*or use the force Defender owner, the force.
*wave your hand... "these are not the droids you are looking for"
