2010 puma fuel return pipe connector

    IMG_3140.jpgHi,
Does anyone know the part number or ford equivalent for the connector that attaches the fuel return pipe to the cross shaped t-piece that sits above and to the left of the high pressure rail? (Picture attached, if I can figure out how). In all the schematics it’s missing but it’s there on my truck.
I think I may have damaged it by plugging with a home made plug when I disconnected it to enable inlet manifold removal. For that matter, does anyone know where “ blanking plugs” can be obtained when disconnecting these lines?
the workshop manual says to always block them off with new blanking plugs but I don’t think they’re commonly available items.IMG_3144.jpgIMG_3145.jpgIMG_3143.jpg

    Regards to all.

if you can't find a Ford/LR replacement, i'm 98% sure they are standard quick connects used by Ford/GM/Mopar. the likes of EFI Hardware , EFI solutions and many others in the LS swap market supply a full range. Dorman also make them. Pretty sure LR uses 3/8" for supply and 5/16" for the return line. That's automotive standard sizing. Buying the fitting is the easy part, they are a RPITA to press into the nylon tube. Google fuel quick connects installation to get an idea. I suspect that you will be up for a new nylon tube and fitting assembly because you will butcher the original nylon tube to remove the old fitting. Being on the low pressure return line, a dodgy is a fuel rated hose and some spring clips.
