    12v fan for in Defender cabin?

    My air con is non functional and I'd a little 12V fan to run in the cab to at least keep the missus happier.

    Anyone got any recommendations?
    It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

    This is a familiar battle haha

    I don't run a 12v fan. I've got a tonne of Milwaukee tools - and have their battery operated fan that runs from an M18 battery. The thing lasts 4-5 hours on a charge no problems.

    When I'm camped up - I'll sometimes run an extension lead from my 300w inverter to the 240v adapter for it and throw it in the swag. Either that, or I just throw the batteries on charge. It's easily charged by the time I need another.

    Nearly every brand has one of these on offer, so if you already have cordless tools - this could be a versatile solution for you and not just limited to the car (I use mine surprisingly regularly).

    Cheers,
    Matt

    Check out some caravan/rv suppliers as they generally have a range of 12V fans, the sirocco brand are popular.

    and Ron.

    Wow those are more expensive than I figured. Possibly a bit larger than I need too. Hard to mount on dash/ceiling.

    @theelms66
    Jaycar has some interesting options.

    I wonder if this could be mounted kind of where the ashtray in a Defender is or whether windscreen would be in the way.

    This one is a bit larger possibly at 18cm diameter too large?

    @DFender - I have Ryobi. Not sure how good their fan is but also its far too big for safe mounting on dash etc.

    even smaller but again how good is it? Still hard to mount somewhere safe. USB Lithium Mini Clamp Fan 2.0Ah Kit | RYOBI
