    Defender 110 Wheel Spacers

Spoiler - I am well aware that wheel spacers are illegal in Australia/NSW, so please keep opinions on that for another time and I’m not interested in the, I heard of a bloke who lost a wheel due to fitting spacers.’
I’m not being reckless or willingly ignorant, I’ve read lots of info and past comments on AULRO so just asking specific answers to my questions please?
All due respect; I promise not to call Karen, as long as there aren’t any Defender 110 Wheel SpacersDefender 110 Wheel Spacers🤞

I run 16x8 25mm o/s steel rims with muddies on (pic 1) but awhile back I decided to run a set of AT’s for around town and save the muddies for tracks and trips.

I picked up a set of Disco 3 spokes that I liked the look (and price) of, plus they’re a good colour match but they do awful things for my turning circle, handling and they just look silly sitting so far inside the gaurd flares. (Pic 2)

So, I’d like to run spacers with them so she looks more like Pic 3

I’ll still end up doing a bit of wheeling on the skinny’s and I’m keen for quality, so I’ll be careful as to what I buy (T6 or T7 ali, anodised etc)

Can anyone recommend a brand, size (I’m thinking 25 or 30) and type they’ve had personal experience with, especially if you run them with alloy disco wheels?

If you’ve got some you’d like to sell, especially if you’re on the NSW Central Coast, Newy or Sydney, please pm me and I’ll get in touch.

I love reading through the Technical Forum and Good Oil but there’s a lot on here; and then there’s the internet…….. Defender 110 Wheel Spacers*Defender 110 Wheel Spacers🤯

I think you ment, Disco 1 / Range Rover Classic wheels which are the same stud pattern as Defender classics.

Disco 2, disco 3, disco 4, p38a, l322 have the same stud pattern

That had me confused too, Disco "3 spoke" wheels and "Disco 3" spoke wheels.

My ones are Snake Racing ones, not that I've really used them, but they certainly look high quality and have some weight in them. I've got 2" Landcruiser 6 stud ones but the LandRover ones would be the equal of.

I'm shocked at how little response you've had in the last 10 days for experiences with wheel spacers - a point worth noting.

Defender 110 Wheel Spacers yeah I realise the ‘major controversy’ caused by mentioning the ‘very illegal’ words, ‘wheel spacers’ can cause and have been pleasantly surprised that folk actually seem to have read all of my post, prior to responding - thank you! (Though some of the old threads on said verboten subject are really amusing 🤣Defender 110 Wheel Spacers)

    Like apostrophes, hyphens are important.

Disco 3-spoke wheels and Disco 3 spoke wheels.
