Thread: 2.4 cranks but won't fire

I have a mate with a Ford transit with the 2.4 puma motor in it. It got a bit sluggish ( 90 loaded on the open road instead of 110) and then when he parked it, it would not restart. Seems to crank OK and the small pump on the top of the fuel filter is noticeable noisy. Any ideas where to start looking ?

the no start issue is a common fault on Transits and the Defender 2.4 has adopted some of these.
I'd google search Transit MK7 2.4 no start issue.
