Thread: Vehicle Speed Sensor PickUp

Hello all...

I am looking to install a Carplay unit in my 2015 Puma. I'm OK with all the dashboard changes.

I am looking at various wiring diagrams and can't see anywhere I can pick up a VSS signal.

Does anyone have any information on where I could tap into a VSS signal or do I need an adaptor?

EDIT: The diagram (below) shows a speed transducer that I could potentially use. Is there a risk of me breaking other things if I tap into this?

That is power to the VSS. You want the signal from it. Or possibly your unit can read CANbus.
