    Fitting Nakatanenga RAI

    Started today.

Update report. I had cleverly placed winch control box where new air piping needs to go. Not sure what to do with that now.

Factory plastic air pipe difficult to remove. Reciprocating saw applied.

Reopened old wounds for from fitting BAS intercooler last weekend.

Realised why I put a bar beside the workshop.

Half old air piping out. Air box will not budge so hoping adaptor can be fitted in situ.

    Having a drinks break.

***** instructions would have been helpful. I drilled holes thinking the black pop rivets would go in but the are too big to go through the mountain holes. So used black screws. Snapped a couple. Frustrating.

All done. Just to fit my CB aerial and find somewhere for the winch control box….

Just to think on where the winch box can fit now. CB aerial re-installed. Also need side vent cover.

Got the winch control box relocated. I preferred it under the bonnet but there isn’t much room.

Truck has a bit more get up and go now with BAS 165hp remap, BAS IC, decent sized air intake to the motor and turbo back straight pipe.

I think if I paint the steering guard racecar red I might get the final couple of horses out of her.

Sing out if you need a place to park up on the way.
