    2.4L Puma Fault codes

Just wondering if anyone has thoughts or experience of these two fault codes, please? Symptoms are power loss, which may be limp mode. A new fuel filter is in place. No MIL light have appeared, but these two new DTC's were found.
    1. P068A-00. "Engine Control Module/powertrain Control Module. Power Relay De-energized Too Early."
The scan tool report alerted to rail pressure and intake manifold pressure.

    2. P0623-13. "Generator Lamp Circuit"

I thought I'd ask first, in case it is common, and likely be a simple sensor replace.

    Cheers

*did you prime the fuel system or fill the filter before starting? this needs to be done on a 2.4 as there is no lift pump in the tank, so that will likely cause your fuel related faults.
*the de-energising fault is likely a old/tired battery.
*the generator fault... is the charge light on?
*if yes then its likely not charging and needs replacing.
*if no then its likely the old/tired battery as above.

    Thanks Daz

I always fill the new filter first, and it fired straight up as usual, so probably not that, and the fault was evident before I changed the filter.

There's no charge light showing, but I have had issues with it previously, both before and after replacing the alternator. It was infrequent and only occasional. The replacement alternator was replaced after 35,000kms, and I've had no charging light since issues. So about 10,000km on the last alternator, before the current issue.

The battery is 8-year old, but still spinning the engine fast at cold starts. It's an Amaron, which are supposed to last a long time, and it's not misbehaving.

The other code P068A-00 (ECM Power relay de-energising too early)...could it relate to a MAP issue, which was reg flagger? Both codes stated intermittent from the scan tool.
    Cheers
