    2014 2.2 Puma at 141,000km.
Have no desire to need an engine change!
    Replaced the injectors at 135,000km.

Wise move. Mine have been done at 180 K because they failed. Luckily there was no harm done to the engine as a result.
I would recommend, that before starting your engine each day; turn on the ignition and listen to the lift pump in the tank. It takes a few seconds to pressurise the line. If you can't hear it and you don't have defective hearing or added sound insulation, then have it checked out. You could save yourself a lot of money.
    Cheers, Billy.

My 2013 Puma 130 is at 80,000km. No problems, touch wood.

My previous 2012 Puma 110 cooked its engine at 130,000km, and had a brand new engine dropped in.

Good to see some of these Pumas getting up to 200,000 clicks….

2 regulars in today, 280K, 360K... both have serviced since new.
@ them km's its everything else that has been done

I realise in euro-land and the U.K they all rabbit on about how rubbish the 2.4/2.2 engines are but I simply dont see it... Ohh thats right the ones that say that are in the business of bmw, merc etc etc engine conversions, how stupid of me not to see that
    Regards

The person who looks after my Defenders used to work for a Ford main dealer. He regards these engines very highly. I like the 2.4. Can't comment on the 2.2 as I do not have one.
