Wipers seized the other day in the rain and sure enough the issue was clogged wiper boxes/cable.
I’ve pulled the dash apart and removed the wiper motor + cable.
Im having lots of trouble removing the wiper boxes. I go to pull them through and there’s still about 20mm left of spindle to come through with no give. I have no idea what I can remove to pull them through. I’ve read about people using crow bars to bend the frame but I’d rather not do that… any tips would be greatly appreciated.

from what I see you havent removed enough of the dash, keep going.
TD5 and older defenders had little thought on how to remove parts after it had been built.
